Fullenkamp Insurance

Chris joined the agency in 1992, as a commercial lines agent. He began his insurance career in 1988, working as a commercial underwriter. In 1994, he obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation. He is currently president of the company and sells and services commercial insurance and surety bond clients.

Chris was born and raised in West Point. He graduated from Marquette High School, and the University of Iowa with a degree in insurance. He currently lives in West Point with his wife Colleen. They have two sons, Ben and Luke. Chris has been a member of the West Point Fire Department since 1992, serving as Chief from 2001 to 2023. He has been involved in the West Point Community Club, Sweet Corn Festival, West Point Ball Association, and in the past has coached youth baseball, soccer and basketball. Chris enjoys hunting and fishing, and is an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Kansas City Chiefs, and St. Louis Cardinals fan. 

Jill started working for Fullenkamp Insurance in 1988 after receiving her insurance degree at The University of Iowa. She is currently co-owner of the agency with her brother Chris Fullenkamp. Jill is licensed in personal lines, commercial lines, and crop insurance. In 2007, she attained the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist Designation. Jill services farm, crop and commercial lines along with her administrative duties within the agency.

Jill was born and raised in West Point. She was introduced to the insurance industry at a young age, with her father putting her to work filing in the office while in junior high. She graduated from Marquette High School and The University of Iowa. Jill currently lives outside of West Point with her husband, Matthew. They have two daughters, Erin (Kyle) Dop and Julie (Josh) More and three grandchildren. In their spare time, Jill and Matthew enjoy spending time with family, especially their grandchildren, and working in their yard.

Judy joined Fullenkamp Insurance in 1984, as a commercial lines customer service Representative. Judy prepares new submissions and manages business accounts. She has developed expertise in surety products for the construction professions. In addition to commercials lines and bonds, Judy is licensed in personal lines, assists the agency with licensing and accounting and is the IT coordinator for the agency.

Judy was born and raised in West Point. She graduated from Marquette High School and Southeastern Community College.  Judy currently lives outside of West Point with her husband, Dean. They have three children, Mandy, Megan (McGraw), and Mitch. In their spare time, Judy and Dean enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren, camping, fishing and golfing.

Brian joined the agency in 2001.  A graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College, Brian is licensed to sell both personal and commercial insurance in Iowa and Missouri.  In 2007, Brian earned the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist Designation (AFIS).

Prior to joining the agency, Brian spent 25 years in the farm equipment business and is, therefore, attuned to the insurance needs of those involved in agriculture.  Over the years Brian has been involved in numerous school, church and community organizations. He was born and raised in the West Point area.  Brian lives in West Point with his wife Judy.  They have two sons, Dan and Brent.

Erin joined Fullenkamp Insurance in 2018. She was born and raised in the southeast Iowa area. She is a third-generation insurance professional for the agency. Erin began her insurance career in 2015 as a commercial lines underwriter after receiving her risk management and insurance certificate as well as a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. Erin obtained her Associate in General Insurance, Associate in Commercial Underwriting, and Accredited Advisor of Insurance, and Chartered Property and Casulty Underwriter designations by passing a series of exams. In 2021, Erin was named the Young Agent of the Year by the Independent Insurance Association of Iowa.

Erin is licensed in personal, commercial, life and health insurance. She will be working to find solutions for your insurance needs!

Erin lives in St. Paul with her husband Kyle, and two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends or working in the yard.

Desiree joined Fullenkamp Insurance in 2019. Her responsibilities include servicing automobile, homeowners, life, health and disability policies along with helping our insureds when a claim occurs. As you get to know Desiree you’ll find her friendly personality is a pleasure to work with and she will provide the outstanding service you expect.

Prior to coming to work at Fullenkamp Insurance, Desiree worked in the banking business for 5 years.

She was born and raised in West Point, where she still lives. She and her husband Eric have two children, Aleah and Jayden. Outside of work, Desiree enjoys time with family and friends including grilling, swimming and camping.

Kendra joined Fullenkamp Insurance Agency in 2021. She is licensed in personal lines and serves as customer service representative along with handling claims. Her friendly personality is a pleasure to work with and her goal is to provide the outstanding service you expect and deserve.

Kendra was raised in West Point, where she still lives. She graduated from Central Lee High School in 2018 and followed by attending Iowa Central Community College to obtain her associates degree in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her fur baby Odin, and  spending time with her family, friends.
